Mission Statement
The Purify Art mission is to provide free and low cost Internet hosting, web design, media tools, and digital distribution for artists of all types, their group projects, and businesses providing service to the arts industry.
PurifyArt.net (Social Network and Digital Store)
Purpose: To create a network of web pages, a website building service, a digital store, and a social network for artists, art organizations, and fans of art. By connecting users with hosting, promotional, financial, and collaborative tools, the network allows them to find, co produce, and make transactions with each other, in an advertising free environment. Members can create digtial stores for audio, video, and images with their own paypal accounts providing safe and secure transactions between members and their fans. Users receive 100% of asking price, Purify Art does not take any cut. Purify Art’s Affiliate service builds and hosts websites for users on unique domains that integrate its media tools, content management system, and store into their own website. Affiliate site content is then promoted through Purify Art and other social media networks according to user preferences. All content on the network will be accessible using detailed categories on the Purify Art search engine giving users searching for art a more direct route to the type of art, artist, or group of artists they are looking for.
Purify.tv (Media Guide and Player)
Purpose: To build a media guide and player that provides members with content based upon their preferences. Members have the ability to stream content from the Purify Art network, their private library, and media hosted elsewhere on the internet. Through user preferences and notification settings, members are presented with selected features both in the media guide and on the player, with the option of not receiving features at all. Media is streamed three ways: 1. Direct selection by user 2. Channels created by other users 3. Channels the member has created themselves. Members are allowed to upload their personal collection of media for their private use once they have agreed that they have purchased and/or been given the rights to use the media in this way. Private media is not shared with other members to protect owner copyrights. Channels of streamed media integrate images, music, videos, and text creating the ultimate online art experience. This service is available on any device with access to high speed internet and the ability to project audio and/or visual content.
PurifyArt.org (Charity)
Purpose: To create an art specific listing and search engine of grants, donation requests, and fund raising drives dedicated to the cultivation of independent arts. Through the website, underprivileged artists and philanthropists are able to connect and engage in charitable transactions. Purify Art provides tax deductable receipts for donations from its donors. In addition, PurifyArt.org fund raises to build free and low cost services to underprivileged artists in communities all around the world. This is a seperate and entity from Purify Art.net/Purify.tv which is a not for profit business that donates all year end profits to this organization, PurifyArt.org, a 501c3 charitable organization
